Your task is to create a new business idea/concept that you will present to a room full of “Sharks” (investors/venture capitalists). You want these “Sharks” (members of your audience) to invest their money into your business. This is the specific purpose of your presentation (the “Call to action”) and you should keep this in mind as you go through the entire process.
The following are requirements you need to include in your sales presentation to the “Sharks”:
- Speech should be 5-6 minutes in length (think like the presentations made on the show “Shark Tank”
- Topic should involve at least two citations in the delivery
- A visual aid (i.e.: PowerPoint presentation and/or demonstration) is required for the sales speech. Think carefully about your visual aid, it should be a tool to help support your sales argument. PowerPoint should have a minimum of 8 slides.
- An outline/notes with works cited page should be submitted.
