This assignment will provide you with opportunities to evaluate meaning and significance of ideas presented in the podcast, while further developing your analytical and writing skills. Each assignment should be a minimum of one page double spaced or a maximum of two pages double spaced. Talking Notes should focus on one passage (usually a paragraph or sometimes just one sentence or idea) from the assigned podcast. Follow this format (List the 4 section titles) on a MS Word document when completing your assignment. Upon completion, upload your assignment for grading.
Section 1/Passage: Quote a selected passage from the assigned podcast that stands out to you or leaves an impression. This can be a paragraph, sentence, idea, etc.
Section 2/Summary: Summarize the passage. Don’t only provide obvious details, interpret and explain the text.
Section 3/Reflection: Explain your own response to the passage. Why was it thought provoking, insightful or inspirational to you? Did it provide clarity regarding your understanding of an idea or topic? Be sure to share why you found your chosen passage powerful for you personally. How will you apply this to your own life?
