● Don’t have to be a drastically increase but it definitely needs to be raised.
● “Oh what about businesses hurting “ well what about the people working for the
business??
● Rasing the minimum wage would lift so many children, out of poverty and give them
a better standard of living which in translate give them more opportunities for their
future. Children who grow up pooer are more likely to become trapped in the circle of
poverty.
● Nobody should be working 40 hours a week but still can’t feed their family. If
businesses can’t afford to pay their workers they dont need to exist.
● “ that means the cost of living is gonna go up “ the cost of living has been going up
for years and will continue to regardless if the minimum wage be keep the same or
increases.
● Don’t see how this such a controversial topic and how others are mad because
people wanna be paid more. If minimum goes up, other’s pay should go up be
default.
● Studies say if the minimum wage was adjusted with inflation it would be currently $24
a hour.
