1. Even though the teacher knew she was being videotaped to asses if girls or boys were receiving equal attention in her classroom, she still paid much more attention to the boys. Why do you think this happened? (Think back to some of our beginning lectures and the articles you have read regarding gender socialization.

2. List a few reasons why it is really, really important to provide the same type of schooling boys typically get to girls. Explain your reasons by connecting examples from the video or other points you have picked up in our class.

3. Remember a time you were in a classroom and felt the boys received a greater advantage in the girls? Why did this happen, provide details and how you felt about it. If you can’t recall a classroom experience, think about the same situation in a different setting!
