1、The selected news must be the news about retail this year, and it includes the knowledge learned in the class. You need to see the five PowerPoints，and must use relevant concepts, models and/or theories from the retail marketing literature to analyse the aspects manifested by the article.

4、The coursework assessment comprises an individual assignment, where you will be required to critically evaluate a recent news item of your choice which relates to retail marketing, with a view to analysing the utility of concepts/models/theories from the academic literature in illuminating understanding of the aspects of retail marketing activity covered in the chosen news item.The focus of this coursework is on the application of theory covered in the module and how as a consequence, retail marketing concepts/theories are made more real from your point of view.
