For one of the reasons mention that my mom was a medical assistant while I was growing up. Seeing how satisfying it was for her to help people pursued me in wanting to become a nurse. In 2010 my grandfather was diagnosed with bone cancer, my parents and I were constantly visiting him. His nurses were amazing at treating him and making him feel better. Seeing that really moved me.
