Information about Child from topic 4 : In the case of developmental-behavioural skills the child exhibited some weaknesses. For example, regulatory disorders, for instance, she did not have a proper sleeping pattern and also had a short attention span (Baptista et al., 2017). This affected the manner in which the child performed in her studies. On the part of development, she looked normal and did not exhibit any symptoms that would warrant any attention.
Due to the regulatory disorders, the child lagged behind in self-care. These are the skills that children must learn so that they may be independent. The child short attention span meant that she cannot grasp the concepts that are taught to her. This will mean that the process of being independent is going to be much difficult. As for the adaptive behaviour, she is doing fine being that she has a very supportive environment.
In the past, she showed laxity in terms of social development. In this case, social development is the manner in which the child relates to other people and regulates his or her behaviour. The laxity was caused by the regulatory disorders that she had been diagnosed with, in the past. But the people around her have been able to structure their conversation and way of behaving to make it easier for her to learn.
