It is your third week working as a certified public health nutritionist or WHO. You are preparing for your extended site visit to a country that you know very little about. To help you prepare, your manager has asked you to give a presentation on the country to your coworkers. In this presentation you will analyze the eating habits and food culture of that country. You will also analyze the most prevalent health issues and illnesses in this country. Formulate some preliminary thoughts on possible connections between diet/nutrition and health issue/illness. Has globalization introduced significant changes in this country’s dietary profile that have possibly led to the increased incidence of certain diseases?
