The scenario revolves around Mrs. Smith, a fifty-year-old female. She consulted a musculoskeletal specialist, pursuing guidance for a three-year history of steadily worsening ache in her left knee. She argues that her knee is typically inflexible for approximately 15 minutes when waking up in the morning. It also becomes stiff for several minutes when she stands up from a seat. She has challenges walking for over 20 minutes due to pain. Crouching and going downhill worsen her symptoms. Whereas resting and sitting relieve her pain, Mrs. Smith becomes stiff when she stays in a single area for an extended period. Her symptoms worsen during cold or humid days, and she has occasionally felt as if her left knee would “give out.”
