Applying a Fallacy

For this assignment, you will work with a fallacy introduced in A Practical Guide to Ethical Theory. Your goal is to develop an original example to illustrate the fallacy you choose.

Step 1:Select two different fallacies from the “Fallacies of Moral Reasoning” section in Chapter II (pp. 23-36).

Step 2: Explain each fallacy as thoroughly as possible in your own words.

Step 3: For each of those fallacies, devise an interesting, real-world example of an argument where someone commits the fallacy. Remember, the example should be one where someone uses a particular kind of bad reasoning, such that their argument is actually weak.

The expected minimum length is 500 words.

I will include the reading in the files as well as the rubric which needs to be followed.
