I need two papers and one of the paper has to be drawn like the third example I have provided. I have given you examples how to write it. Also I will provide a picture of the book it’s called “Relevant Linguistics” Please I don’t want it to be plagiarized. Let me know if the pictures are not clear.

Paper #2 Prompt Your assignment is to analyze the language of the passage on the next page in TWO ways. You’ll be analyzing constituents and phonemes. Specifically, for the constituent analysis, you must select eight (8) sentences from the passage, and your set of sentences must include one of each of the following types (your textbook has models of each type): two canonical sentences without subordinate clauses, as described below: 1. one (1) canonical simple sentence 2. one (1) canonical coordinate sentence three canonical complex sentences with subordinate clauses, as described below: 3. one (1) canonical complex sentence with an adverbial clause 4. one (1) canonical complex sentence with a nominal clause 5. one (1) canonical complex sentence with an adjectival (relative) clause three non-canonical sentences, as described below: 6. one (1) non-canonical yes/no question 7. one (1) non-canonical “wh-‘ question 8. one (1) sentence with a non-canonical relative clause in which the relative pronoun has been “wh-” moved
For the five (5) canonical sentences, your constituent-related task is to draw a fully labeled diagram to indicate the hierarchical structure of the sentence. In addition to labeling all words and grammatical relations, make sure you label each sentence type dearly (e.g., “canonical coordinate sentence”). For the three (3) non-canonical sentences, your constituent-related task is in two parts: A) undo the transformations to determine the deep structure and then 11) draw a fully labeled diagram to indicate the hierarchical structure of the deep structure sentence. Again, label each sentence type, as well as each word, as described above. ALSO, for each of the eight (8) sentences you choose, the phoneme-related task is to transcribe the sentences at the underlying level, using the symbols from our phonetic alphabet (the one in the textbook) to represent the phonemes in every word of every sentence. You should NOT worry about any issues related to levels of representation. Just stick to basic (broad) phonemic transcription, as presented in chapter 2. Your transcriptions can be presented together with your diagrams or separately. How you organize your response is up to you, is formatting (hand-written is OK, as long as it’s legible); just be sure to provide everything requested in the directions above. Failure to respond to the directions will result in automatic deductions and poor grades. You can find a sample response on p. 3 of this prompt. Fxplanatior, The idea behind this assignment is to serve as a review for two important parts of the cumulative final exam (syntax and phonetics). Use it as an opportunity to practice what we learned earlier
