Format:

In Introduction clearly discuss which topic you have selected. Also, you need to mention your agreement/disagreement. This would be your thesis.

Example: “I intend to discuss the ethical theory taken by Patrick Kenzie in the film, Gone baby gone. I disagree with his moral position.”

The body of your paper has two parts. In the first part, you address the question in your selected topic related to the moral theme of the movie (i.e., the perspective of the filmmaker in Ex Machina or ethical theory of characters in Gone baby gone). You need to provide clear examples from scenes/dialogues of your selected movie and explain how those scenes/dialogues discuss and visualize your view about the questions in the topic. For example, you need to mention scenes/dialogues based on which you will argue that from the perspective of the filmmaker in Ex Machina Ava is a moral subject. Another example: You need to mention scenes/dialogues based on which you will argue that Patrick’s ethical theory is ‘X’.
