Use the knowledge you have gained through these four lessons to construct two charts—the first should illustrate the physical developmental trajectory of young children and middle children and the second should illustrate the cognitive developmental trajectory of young children and middle children.
Choose a few specific domains of developmental progress (e.g. major milestones, skills, abilities, behaviors, etc.) to address when designing charts that illustrate both physical and cognitive growth and development. Be sure to address the same domains for both age groups so that your charts will demonstrate a clear comparison between development in early childhood and middle childhood within a single illustration.
