Compare and contrast your own experiences dealing with process writing in your own life (whether at home, school, or work)

Please read chapter ten of our textbook. Be sure to read the “main” part of the chapter in its entirety. The lengthy sample documents, however, can be skimmed. Then, respond to at least one of the following prompts:

This chapter provides extensive guidelines concerning what is sometimes called “process writing.” Approach this prompt as a reader: Compare and contrast your own experiences dealing with process writing in your own life (whether at home, school, or work) with the kind of process writing described in the chapter. (In other words, think about a time you’ve had to follow a written procedure, whether it was for a personal, academic, or professional situation. Then, connect your ideas to the chapter.) Approach this prompt as a writer: Think about times in your life in which you’ve had to create your own process writing. Compare and contrast your own experiences (again, as a writer) with the kind of process writing described in the chapter. Also consider this question: What were some of the unique challenges you faced? What did you find most surprising about the chapter? Why? Describe and explain. If you found the chapter to be lacking, how could you have made it better? What other examples or explanations would you have provided? Complete exercise #3 only at the end of the chapter.

If you want to quote something from the book (or any other source), that’s fine, but remember to cite your sources. Again, you do not need to answer all of these questions. Instead, choose as few or as many as necessary to reach the minimum word count of 200 words.
