CLASSMATE ANSWER – Being diverse means being different. Having a diverse work place can provide an important competitive edge for organizations. The ability for a workplace to bring multiple diverse cultural tendencies aand knowledge to the table makes that company very competitive simply due to it diversity. However,not everyone sees the advantages of a diverse work place.
Diverse work places can come with certain issues that can turn a work environment into a hostel or non diverse environment. Some, feel as though certain professions should should remain withing certain cultures or races. Or they feel as though certain companies should be “American” ran and not allow outsiders. Other issues can arise from cultures pushing their beliefs on other cultures that can be offensive.
