Integrative bargaining

Integrative bargaining

Integrative bargaining is when two companies benefit from each other. It is negotiating where both benefit from the agreement. Distributive bargaining they both make their demands in negotiations by increasing their own shares individually. Some lose out and dont benefit from it. Integrative bargaining can be counter productive since the highest bidder wins. This eliminates free trade. When purchases are made in home sales and car sales, either the seller or the buyer wins. If they reach an agreement the buyer either gets the deal they wanted or pays more. The seller either loses money on the deal, or gains a profit.
