Eroticism can be considered a “philosophical contemplation concerning the aesthetics of sexual desire, sensuality, and romantic love.” The idea is found in literature and poetry. The great poet Audre Lorde felt there was power in the erotic, and erotic poetry has always existed and can be traced back to the early Greek poet Sappho (610 to 580 BC).
Write a research paper exploring how does erotic poetry connect to the ideas of life, power, creativity and/or desire?
