For your final project, you will need to create a fictional company. This company can be similar to a company you are already familiar with, or it can be based on a new business concept. You then have two deliverables: (1) an executive summary that describes your company and its business strategy, including the use of information systems or information technologies; and (2) a website for your company that describes your company and summarizes your research.
Executive Summary
In the executive summary, you are to do the following:
- Give your company a name.
- Describe the company (what it does, what products or services it sells, etc.)
- Identify and cite at least two current articles about the industry in which your firm operates. Be as specific
as possible. For example, if your company is a recording studio or a clothing boutique, don’t just find
articles about “the music industry” or “the retail industry” but rather focus on those types of businesses
specifically.
